Who we are
TailorMesh is the app at tailormesh.com and on Android. Write to [email protected] about anything in this policy.
What we collect
- Your sign-in: your email address and name from Google or your email.
- What you tell us when you sign up: your first and last name, mobile number, country and state, and whether you run a shop or work as a tailor.
- Your phone number, if you verify it, and the choices you make about being contacted, with the date you made them.
- What you enter for your shop: customers, measurements, orders, payments, staff, pay, expenses and photos.
- A code for your phone so we can send you notifications.
Why we use it
- To run the app, keep your shop on your devices and back it up.
- To show your staff the work their role allows.
- To contact you about your account and your free trial.
- To call you about plans and offers, only if you agreed to that. You can turn it off any time in Account.
Where it is kept
On your devices, and on servers run for us by Supabase. Phone number checks and notifications go through Firebase (Google). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Your customers' details
You enter your customers' names, phone numbers and measurements to serve them. Please only enter what they are happy for you to keep.
Order status links
A shop can send a customer a link to check their order without signing in. Anyone who has the link sees the shop's name, logo, phone and pickup address, the customer's first name, each garment's progress, the promised date and the amounts paid and due. It never shows who is working on the order, phone numbers of the customer, notes or photos. The shop can switch a link off or replace it at any time, and every link stops working 30 days after the order is handed over. Search engines are told not to list these pages.
The job portal
- Only people who are signed in can see job posts and work profiles.
- When you post a job, signed-in people see the post and your shop's name. They see a phone number only if you choose to show one.
- When you apply to a job, that shop sees your name, mobile number, work profile and note. Other shops do not.
- If you turn on 'Looking for work', shops on a paid plan or trial can find your name, work profile, state and country. They see your number only if you allow it, or after you apply to them or accept their invitation.
- Turn 'Looking for work' off or withdraw an application at any time.
Your choices
- See and change your details and choices in Account.
- Turn calls about offers on or off at any time.
- Delete your account in Account. This removes your shops, everything in them and your details from our servers.
- Write to [email protected] with any question or complaint. We reply within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
Things you delete in the app wait in its recycle bin for 30 days, where you can restore them. After that they leave your devices. We keep a copy on our servers for about 90 days from the day you deleted them, so they can be recovered if you ask, and then erase it. Deleting your account erases everything straight away.
